Dogs owned by residents in the Town of Erie must be licensed. Every owner of a dog over six months of age shall have the animal licensed within 30 days after it is brought into the Town. The length of the license is determined by the rabies vaccination expiration date.

You are required by law to register your dogs (Ord. 608, 9-24-1998). You must attach a copy of vaccination records for each dog you are registering, which includes the dog’s name, breed, sex & alteration (spay/neuter).

Fees are no longer assessed for dog licenses!
